It began with a bad cup and a good question: why is most coffee already stale by the time you buy it? We started roasting in small batches for friends, shipping it the same week, and the difference was obvious. Crema grew from there — direct relationships with growers, roasting to order, and a subscription that means good coffee just shows up.
